Republican candidate for governor Bradley Byrne launched a new :30 spot this morning. The commercial, called Proven, showcases Byrne as a fiscal conservative. “The goal,” Sen. Scott Beason (R-Gardendale) says is to “ask the sticky, tough questions that make people uncomfortable.” Sen. Beason moderates tonight’s candidates forum for Republican hopefuls in the governor’s race. “It’s not going to be softballs,” Beason promises.
