Dueling Democrats II: Ron Sparks on Artur Davis’ Voting Record
Is he tired of being on the defensive over that $500,000 loan?
Agriculture Commissioner Ron Sparks campaign took its swipe at Congressman Artur Davis this morning. The email in reporters InBoxes claims “Artur Davis traded key votes for campaign cash, siding with Big Oil and the credit card industry.”
The Sparks campaign cites the watchdog group OpenSecrets.org to highlight federal contributions to Rep. Davis linked to oil companies and lending institutions, as well as his voting record related to those industries.
Earlier this morning, I blogged here about the congressman’s continued questions about Sparks personal loan to his campaign.
Davis said “I think all of us are concerned this could be one more instance of a politician receiving special treatment.”
