Alabama’s D-4 Republican congressman, Robert Aderholt, says the GOP’s “Pledge” unveiled Thursday is “a start.”
This morning on FOX6 News Good Day Alabama, Aderholt, who is unopposed in his re-election effort for an 8th term, predicted GOP gains in the state’s congressional delegation.
In particular, he sees Mo Brooks running strong against Steve Raby in D-5.

Democratic nominee for governor Ron Sparks dismisses Rasmussen Reports as a Republican pollster surveying Republicans for Republicans, but the latest Rasmussen Reports survey keeps GOP nominee Robert Bentley comfortably in front.
Sparks, who boasts he is gaining in a survey by the AEA’s polling wing, remains 20-points down in the RAS survey.

The Ron Sparks campaign says former president Bill Clinton will come to Birmingham this week for a fundraiser.
The $1,000-a-person event takes place at the Summit Club in downtown Birmingham Thursday at 1pm.
