Birmingham takes an important step on January 19th. It elects a new mayor to replace Larry Langford who was automatically removed from office when he was convicted on federal charges of bribery and political corruption.

FOX6 News will help voters learn about the two runoff candidates by hosting a debate in our studio during our 9PM newscast on Thursday, January 14th. I’ll ask questions of William Bell and Patrick Cooper. I won’t reveal what I’m going to ask to anyone outside of my managers, but feel free to suggest something you’d like to know from the two candidates. The more input, the better.
