Republican gubernatorial candidate, Robert Bentley issues this statement on the opening of his headquarters in Tuscaloosa:
______________________
Dr. Robert J. Bentley’s gubernatorial campaign headquarters opened for business last week. The headquarters are located at 1439 McFarland Boulevard East, just south of the intersection of 15th Street and McFarland Boulevard East, and across the street from the Krispy Kreme.
“I am delighted to officially open our headquarters, and I welcome all Alabamians to stop by and learn more about my plans for ‘Putting Alabamians Back to Work,’ as well as my prescription for ‘Affordable and Accessible Health Care‘ in Alabama. I also am excited by the interest the University community has expressed in my campaign, and I am pleased to offer political internships to students at the University of Alabama. Students who would like to be directly involved with a local candidate for the gubernatorial primary have the opportunity to earn 3-6 class credit hours during their internship.”
Jesse Ochocki is the State Coordinator of Students for Bentley 2010, and officially registered the student organization with the University yesterday. Students interested in joining the U of A chapter may contact Jesse via phone (205-534-5543) or email (jdochocki@crimson.ua.edu).
